Amy joined GambleAware as a Research Manager in August 2019.

Prior to joining the team, Amy completed a PhD at University of Bristol analysing the impact of residential and school mobility on educational attainment at age 16. She then worked as the lead Researcher on a on a Widening Participation project at University of Bristol. Amy also has over six years’ experience working for BBC Children in Need, as a Grants Officer and as an Assessor. In addition, Amy is also a Trustee for Avon Youth and volunteers as a Youth Mentor for Mentoring Plus.

As well as her PhD, Amy has an MSc in Social and Spatial Inequalities and a BA in Geography from University of Sheffield.
