Jay is a Research Manager on the GambleAware Research Team.

He has over five years’ experience working for INPUD (the International Network of People who Use Drugs), a human rights and health INGO for people who use drugs, first as Policy and Advocacy Officer, then as Deputy Director. Previously, he was the Trusts and Foundations Officer for the African Medical and Research Foundation UK, and a consultant for the Global Network of Sex Work Projects. Jay holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge focusing on sex work and drug legislation, healthcare, and service provision, and has published two monographs on these subjects.
